Since the dawn of civilization, humans have been moving earth. No society can exist without infrastructure. Today this is done constantly. In years past, prior to the first shovel, weeks of engineering were necessary for proper grades and volumes. Today, GPS aided hardware comes standard on heavy machinery allowing for finish grading to be done in rapid fashion. Combine this technology with a real-time map of the site and engineering changes can be made on the fly.
Digital elevation models provide extremely accurate terrain mapping of all existing features. Planning site prep and earth moving efficiency is paramount to production times. With uncrewed system technology increasing those production times can be done tenfold.
By utilizing a digital twin captured with uncrewed systems, safety risks nearly are eliminated from concern. All of our flight crews are licensed and insured as well as extensively trained to further mitigate site specific hazards.
